A popular piece of equipment used worldwide. Use as face camouflage, scarf, gear cover or stretch as visual cover. The shemag originates from Arabic countries and was introduced to Europe by soldiers of the British SAS after World War II. How to tie: 1. Fold the shemag through the middle to make a triangle. Then place it over the head so that one end is longer than the other one. 2. Pull the shorter end under the chin until it reaches ear level. 3. Pull the longer end over the face. 4. Keep wrapping around the head until you reach the other end. 5. Tie both ends together. The knot should be at ear level. You can either keep your mouth area covered or wear the cloth underneath the chin.
